Theatre Director

Welcome! I am Thomas Edwards, your Barnwell County Consolidated School District High School Theatre Teacher. I am serving both Williston and Blackville students for the art of Theatre and I am beyond excited!

In some form or fashion I have been a part of live theatre and production since the 5th Grade. Whether that was acting, sound and light board operator, lighting designer, master electrician, assistant technical director, shop foreman, assistant stage manager, stage manager, technical stage staff; and on multiple occasions performing more than one of those duties.

After high school, I attended Spartanburg Methodist College where I attained an Associates in Arts and an Associates in Fine Arts. I then transferred to the University of South Carolina Upstate where I gained a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre with a Production emphasis. 

Since university, I have worked multiple part-time and event contracts with several production and performance companies. My latest adventures include working for Royal Caribbean International traveling the world making the magic of live theatre and running the Ballet Spartanburg's Production of The Nutcracker.
