Attached you will find consents for flu shots and the dental van.
Flu shots are being offered by DHEC and will take place on Friday, October 28th. In order for your student to receive one, the consent must be turned in no later than October 21st.
The South Carolina Dental Screening Associates (SCDSA) are licensed dentists, dental hygienists and assistants that go into schools and other facilities throughout the state to provide dental services for children ages 1-19. Parents do not have to miss work and students do not have to miss school! If your student has Medicaid or SCHIP, they will bill them directly and there will be NO COST to you! If you have insurance, the provider will submit the claim directly to your insurance. If you do not have insurance or are experiencing financial hardship, you can apply for Classy Smiles funding to cover your services (based on available funding).
In order for this dental program to come to the high school, we must have enough interest.
